About the Admin

Hey! You may call me Mai or Siv, and I am a sixteen year old enrolled in a high school in the capital of the United States of America! I have been into Hetalia for around two years now, but some other series that I like include Darker than Black, Homestuck, No. 6, and Sherlock.

I’m a musician, bad singer, and history enthusiast whose favourite area of study is Chinese history.

I only have been role-playing for a year over facebook, but I have been writing since I was around seven or eight years old, and it is one of my few passions other than music and history.

Bullshit has made me sick. I am tired of people getting on my ass for random OOC shit, and I will not stand for it. I’m not a terribly mean person, I don’t think, but my good opinion once completely lost is very hard to regain.

I am underage. (1996, bby.) If this makes a difference in your RPing or you do not feel comforable RPing certain genres with people under the age of eighteen, there you go.

I stick with my interpretation, it is my own and most of it is completely contrary to the canon because it is based on history, not Hetalia itself. The idea of a half-OC, like my character, is basically an expansion of the canon, with around a 50-50 ratio of canon traits to non-canon traits.

Let me clarify that I, the admin, am not Chinese or even of Chinese descent. I have a very limited knowledge of the language, but Chinese culture and history are really my favourite things so I write a lot about them and know a lot about them. Feel free to talk to me about it anytime!

I have some limits when RPing as well, and I would appreciate if you respect them.

✕ Pedophilia/Shota - I won’t RP it. Don’t even. [NOTE: I will not RP this, but that will NOT stop me from RPing with a character with this in their personal history (e.g. in an AU) as long as I find that the matter is treated both realistically and respectfully.]

✕ Anything involving tentacles.

✕ Anything involving rape, whether it be heterosexual or homosexual. [See note above.]

✕ Extreme gore - I don’t want to RP you eating my character’s intestines after slicing them out with something or another. I can deal with action and fighting, and I can deal with your character wounding mine, but extraction of internal organs makes me want to go puke.

Here are some things I’m a bit iffy on:

⁓ Smut - I’m not actually comfortable RPing it in such a public setting. And besides, I don’t like the genre. While I’m willing to talk about sex and sexual preferences of my character, I don’t like to actually RP them having sex. It’s a hole in my writing ability, and I’m uncomfortable with it. No, I don’t want to fix the hole either.

⁓ Drama - I love a good dramatic RP, but don’t involve my character in a lot of IC drama. I’ll throw a fit. That being said, every once in a while, if the country of my character is close with your’s, I’m willing to comfort your character in an RP or even protect them if it fits with the politics of my character towards your’s.

⁓ Angst - This is a genre I really love, but I don’t like to do it all the time. Don’t go around breaking my character either please. I will be upset if you do that.

Things that I would love to do follow here!:

― Historical (WWII is actually not preferred, but I love doing Cold War things and reconciliation stuff! Earlier history is really fun too, and I know a lot about it.)

― Casual conversation (Hey, the characters can talk too, right? Politics and current events are things I try to keep up with as much as possible OOC, so I would love to discuss it from a perspective different from my own IC!)

― Crossover (Hetalia is something I find perfect for this genre.)

― AU (Some of my favourites are Cardverse, for which I can tell you about headcanons I have, Crossover AUs, Medieval things, and human AU.)

―Magic Anons (I prefer that they last no more than 24 hours unless it is either (a) super creative and interesting/very doable RP-wise or (b) necessary to a plot device. If it is something like giving my character nightmares, or in general if the magic only works at a specific time/period of the day, then please state which days and for how many days/weeks!)
